If you want to Create a New Account on the official website of UPPCL, then for this you have to go to the official website of UPPCL upenergy.in. When this website is opened, scroll down the page from the scroll bar and find the Consumer Corner section.
Several subsections are also visible inside the Consumer Corner section. The first subsection in this is "₹ BILL GENERATION AND PAYMENT". The second option "Bill Payment (RURAL)" appears in this subsection. You have to click on this second option. Look at the image below carefully.
As soon as you click on the Bill Payment (RURAL) option, UPPCL's rural portal will open on your device. You will also find many sections on the page of this rural portal of UPPCL. Out of this the first section is useful for you. This section is labeled as "User Login". Now you need to click on "Login" in this section. For more clarity see the below image carefully.
Now as soon as you click on the Login option. A new page opens on your device. To create a new account on this website of UPPCL, REGISTER NOW button is visible at the bottom of this page. Now you have to click on this button. For more clarity see the below image carefully.
How to Register on UPPCL?
Now as soon as you click on the REGISTER NOW button. A form opens on your device. You should fill this form very carefully. See the image below carefully to understand the format of the form.
Now you need to fill this form very carefully. Before filling the form, keep your old electricity bill with you and whatever mobile number you have registered with UPPCL, keep it with you. Let us see how you will fill this form?
- First of all in the form you are asked to enter the Account Number. UPPCL issues twelve digit Account Number for Rural Consumers of Uttar Pradesh. You can get your twelve digit Account Number from your old Electricity Bill.
- In the second option of the form, you are asked for the Service Connection Number of your electricity connection. This Service Connection Number is also given in your old electricity bill. Although it is not mandatory to give Service Connection Number in this form. You can even leave it if you want.
- In the third option of the form, you are asked to create a strong password. Whatever password you create for this UPPCL account, you must write it down in a secret place. Because you will need it again and again.
Let us now see how you can create a strong password? - You should try to keep your password longer than eight digits.
- Your password must contain at least one letter from capital ABCD....XYZ.
- Your password must contain at least one character from small abcd....xyz.
- Your password must contain at least one digit.
- One digit of your password must contain one of the special characters like- !@#$%.
- Confirm Password is asked in the fourth option of the form. Therefore, you should note down the password that you have created in option three, again in this option.
- After this you are now asked to enter Full Name. So you should write the name of the person on the Electricity Bill.
- Now you are asked to enter your Mobile Number. In this option you should enter your Mobile Number which is registered with your Electricity Department.
- Now you are asked to enter your Primary Email. So you need to enter any email id that you are using.
- In the next option you are asked to choose the Secret Question. So you should choose any one question whose answer has to be given in the next option. This option becomes very useful for you then. When you forget your password and you try to recover your password.
- After completing all the above options, you get two check boxes. You need to click on it and select it. The advantage of this will be that all the information related to your Electricity Bill will be received on your Mobile and Email.
- Now you will see an Image Verification option. As you see in the above image. In this image, 96fd6 is visible written in the Image Verification option. In the same way, something else will appear written in your Image Verification option. Whatever is written here, has to be written in the box below.
- Now in the last one has to click on the check box once again. By doing this you accept the term and condition of UPPCL.
- Now click on the register button
On clicking the Register button, a new page opens and an OTP is received from UPPCL on your mobile. You have to enter OTP in this new page.
Your registration is now successfully completed.
