Way to check UP Urban Electricity Bill -
Step 01: Open the Urban webpage of UPPCL-
If you are a resident of urban area of Uttar Pradesh and you have got electricity connection from UPPCL, then you have to open any browser on your device and go to the official website of UPPCL.
On the official website of UPPCL, you will see the option of "Bill Payment (URBAN)" in the "Consumer Corner" section. After clicking on this option, you have to click on the "Insta Bill Payment" option.
A form will open on your device as soon as you click on this option. You can directly access this form. For this a link of "Insta Bill Payment" is being given. If you want, you can easily access that page by clicking here.
Step 02: Enter UPPCL Account Number-
Urban consumers of UPPCL have a 10 digit account number on their electricity bills. If you want to check your electricity bill, then you should know this account number of UPPCL. You can find out your 10 digit account number from any of your old electricity bills.
If you are unable to find your account number, then the mobile number that you have registered with your electricity connection. Electricity bill can also be checked with its help. Let us now know how you will fill the form appearing in the device?
01.Now first of all you have to select "Discom Name" in the given form. So in this option you should select "Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited".
02.Now for the second option, you can select either the account number or the mobile number. If you know your account number, then after selecting the "Account Number" option given in the form, you should enter the 10 digit account number in the box.
If you do not know your account number, then you should select the option "Registered Mobile No" and then enter your mobile number (which is registered with the electricity department).
03.Now the sum of the numbers visible in the image should be entered in the box and click on the "View" button.
Step 03: Check UPPCL Electricity Bill-
After completing step 02, a new page will open on your device. Your electricity bill amount will start appearing in this new page. You will also see the date by which you have to pay this bill. For more details see the below image carefully.
On this page you will be able to know only the amount of electricity bill. If you also want to know how many units are billed and what are the other charges? So for this you have to click on the "View Bill" button. Option 2 is shown in the image.
Step 04: Detailed information of UPPCL Electricity Bill-
As soon as you click on the option "View Bill" as mentioned in step 03, an OTP will be sent to your mobile number registered with UPPCL. As soon as you submit this in the OTP form, the detailed information about your electricity bill will be displayed.
